Feeling Very Grateful!!!!!

As I sit here tonight holding my little one I have so much gratitude in my heart. Earlier tonight I had a friend on facebook IM me and he asked "what's the word of the day?" as I sat there for a moment I IM him back and told him *Gratitude*. He sent me a smiley face back and told me that is the word of the day! How often do we go through out our day and not stop in the middle of it just to thank our Heavenly Father for even the littlest thing. This pass year and a half or even longer I have learn and felt so much gratitude for our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. The blessings He has poured down on my family I can't even put a number on them. I have learned patience, love, forgiveness, faith, hope, charity, long suffering, and even humility. I have grown as a person that I hope is pleasing to my Heavenly Father. I know that I'm for from perfect but I'm just grateful that he loves and cares for each of us so much that even if we think he has turned his back on us, he hasn't we just need to open our eyes a little more.

Day at the Zoo with Alex

I had a wonder time with Alex and his Kindergarten class went on a field trip to the ZOO. I was able to ride the bus with him. Boy was it LOUD!!! A bunch of 5 and 6 year old boys and girls just a talking away with their friends. We got to the zoo and had a wonderful time. Having a picnic lunch and then looking and learning about the animals, The picture can tell you some of the animals we saw. My favorite animal were the snakes. Alex really enjoyed the Tigers and Apes. I really enjoyed spending the day with Alex. Watching him hang out with his friends and even watching him flirt with the girls. He is such STUD!!!

Spring Clean-up 2009

Went to Grandma and Grandpa Heaton's house on April 18th and did spring clean-up in their fields and yard. We did it last year and the children really enjoyed it. So we did it again this year. We all got there between 9 and 10 and the kids jumped right in and started working by picking up the branches that fell off the tree during the fall and winter season. Gathering all the branches and making two fires. When the work was all done Grandma brought out the hot dogs and we all had a weenie roast, 40 hot dogs later we all relaxed and spent time with family. Cousins played out in the field and down by the creek. The Adults relaxed in the house as we talked to Grandma and Grandpa.

Draper Temple Openhouse 2/7/09

Went to the Draper Temple Open House for Jade's 12th Birthday. It was so neat to have alot of Scott's family and my mom and nephew there enjoying this wonderful day. Jade wanted to do that for her birthday. Watching the children ask question and share feelings as we walked through the temple was awesome. To know that at their young ages they have a true knowledge of the gospel and can feel the Spirit that was there. In the tour they had groups go into sealing rooms to visit with a tour guide. It was neat to look around the room and to realize that all there was related some how and to know that we will be together forever.

Our Trip to Mazatlan Christmas 2007

We had so much fun as a family. We drove down taking 2 1/2 days to get there. We left Friday morning and saw the ocean on Sunday afternoon and stayed 10 days. After playing a see what we could for the time we were there we left and drove back home in two days. We were gone for a total of 15 days and it was one of the best two weeks we have ever had. Watching the children play in the water and making sand castles in the sand was wonderful. We took the children to different villages so they could see how those children lived and also what the children there went without. They realized that they were very blessed. I feel that each of them brought something back with them that helps them to remember how much they really do have here in America. We went to a meat market to see how that was done, boy did it STINK!!! We had so much fun camping there on the beach and making our food over a grill. Having no TV, cell phones, or even Internet for a week and a half was NICE! Sitting back and realizing how blessed and grateful for what we all have been blessed with. The sunset were are favorite part of the day. Watching the sun hit the water and then disappear was AWESOME. Heavenly Father has given us a beautiful world to live in and all we need to do is open our eyes and look.

About Our Family

Our family started October 27,2001. We have 6 wonderful children. We realize that it is not always easy blending a family but we have done it. We have felt that we have done a pretty good job so far. Here is a little bit about our wonderful children. We'll start with Andrew, he's in the 9th grade and love anything dealing with Science. He's know learning how to drive. He'll be getting his learning permit in April. Austin just became a Deacon. He loves to play football and is in Wrestling. Jade will be turning 12 this Saturday. She's the rock of our family. Jade is my second in command I can count on her to be there when I need her. All three of these children are in piano and like it. Maddison is doing awesome in school. She's enjoys reading and playing with her friends. She also loves to play with Alex. Now Alex he LOVES school and we can't believe he is old enough to go to school. He's our little red head and we love it. Izabel is our little spit fire. She keeps all of us on our toes. She is so loving and always makes all of us smile. Scott and I are very grateful for all six of our children they bring us joy and trials into our lives. We are who we are because of them. We are proud of each of them they all are strong in the gospel and have stayed strong in their beliefs and values. We loves them dearly.
